HISTORY
Thirty years ago a group of community leaders in Auburn met to find ways to help families become or stay employed. They believed that providing good child care was one of the solutions. Auburn Christian Action Program Daycare Association was incorporated to focus on safe, affordable child care. The child care was held in churches for nine years, until the present site was secured and our first building set up. A second building was added a few years later and our third building was added ten years ago. With the expansion of services to include other social services for families, the name was changed to ACAP Child and Family Services. The focus continues to be on providing children with a positive early childhood educational experience.
